Gwen Ricks

Gwen retired from Southwest Airlines after serving 24 years in Operational Leadership positions in Ground Operations. The last 15 years she served as Southwest Airlines Station Leader at Bill and Hillary Clinton Airport in Little Rock, Arkansas. Prior to Southwest Airlines, she spent 20 years at Southern California Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Los Angeles, California in various Leadership positions, always delivering legendary Customer Service.

While at Southwest Airlines she was responsible for managing a multi-million-dollar operating budget, oversight of daily flight activity while leading dozens of Employees. This oversight responsibility was inclusive of Customer Service, Ramp, Operations, Cargo, Provisioning and liaison for Southwest Airlines.

As a 16-year Breast Cancer Survivor, Gwen made a conscious effort to continue her journey serving on many prestigious committees in the community through volunteerism opportunities for several non-profit organizations. Gwen is the recipient of several Awards and recognitions for her Outstanding Leadership and Customer Service. She has served as a Board member on various Non-Profits and on the MPCATA Advisory Council. Currently she is an active Board member with the Leadership Foundation for Women.
