Kelly Carney

Kelly Carney, SPHR is the Vice President, Human Capital and Chief People Officer for Southwest Power Pool, where she oversees the human resources and learning and development teams. Kelly has over 20 years of experience in human resources and has worked across a variety of industries; she previously served as vice president of human resources and chief administrative officer at Delta Dental of Arkansas. She also serves as the Vice Chair of the Arkansas Hospice governance board and as a board member at large for the Arkansas Compensation Association.  She has a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Administration from the University of Kansas and has a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation from the Human Resources Certification Institute.
