Abtin Mehdizadegan
Abtin Mehdizadegan is a law partner with Hall Booth Smith, P.C. in its Little Rock, Arkansas office. Abtin represents businesses in traditional labor and employment law matters, commercial disputes, and high-stakes litigation. He has successfully argued several cases at the Supreme Court of Arkansas and at the Fifth and Eighth Circuit Courts of Appeal. Outside of his law practice, Abtin serves as an adjunct professor of employment law at the UA Little Rock Bowen School of Law. Clients routinely engage Abtin to conduct comprehensive employment law counseling and training to their workforces; to develop policies and handbooks; and to assist businesses with matters pertaining to affirmative action and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Abtin graduated from the University of Maine with his B.A. in Political Science and Communications in 2006; and from the Bowen School of Law, where he competed on the national trial team and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review, in 2010—both with honors distinctions.
Outside of work, Abtin enjoys spending time with his wife and son, Katie and Cyrus; pretending to fly fish on the Little Red River; and volunteering in the community, including with the Arkansas Repertory Theatre, local animal rescues, and pro bono legal organizations.
